Lifeguard Certification Class 4/24-4/26

The EmBe Red Cross Lifeguard Training Program is intended to train individuals in the skill and knowledge needed to be a certified lifeguard at aquatic facilities. Upon successfully completing the 28 hour course, students will receive certification in the following: Lifeguarding and First Aid (three years), CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (one year). Successful candidates have lucrative opportunities for employment upon completion of the class!

You will receive an email with a link to your Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Class Blended Learning portion of the course. You must complete this prior to the class in order to be able to take the in-person portion of the certification course. You must also bring proof of completion of the online blended learning to show the instructor in order to continue in the class.

Note:

Please pack a swimsuit, towel, water and snacks. You will be allotted breaks at the instructors discretion. Be prepared to get in the water both days.
Refunds will only be given at the discretion of the Executive Director for Programs & Operations. A doctor's note must be provided prior to the start of class if you are requesting to cancel your registration. In the case of an emergency, please contact the aquatics@embe.org or 605-681-8342
